Two. Structure and use
Creepage extenders composed of monolithic umbrella skirt and plate (see Figure 1). 一.用途
　　直流悬式瓷绝缘子高温硫化硅橡胶增爬裙（简称增爬裙）用于直流悬式瓷绝缘子的增爬。该产品主要作用是提高重污区直流瓷绝缘子的耐污闪性能。增爬裙是由高温硫化硅橡胶制成的伞裙；具有良好的憎水性、耐腐蚀性、耐老化性,绝缘子使用后增爬效果明显、防污闪性能大大提高。该产品具有重量轻，且现场施工方便的优点。

二.结构及使用
　　增爬裙由单片伞裙及搭接片组成（见图一）。使用时在常温下用专用硅橡胶粘合剂将伞裙与绝缘子相应的瓷裙粘合，并用搭接片固定（见图二）。粘合剂固化后增爬裙和瓷裙成为一个整体，即成为所要求的增大爬距绝缘子。

4.4.1 in the prepared insulator skirt the skirt surface (see Figure three) coated adhesive; with a scraper scraping, the adhesive is a uniform thickness, the thickness is about 0.5mm;

4.4 粘接顺序及方法
注意:涂好粘接剂的各部件必须在15分钟内完成粘接！

4.4.1 在准备好的绝缘子瓷裙整个裙面(见图三)涂粘接剂；用刮板刮平,使粘接剂厚度保持均匀,其厚度约为0.5mm；

4.4.6 将增爬裙搭接处、接缝处及钢帽处的缝隙用粘接剂填充后用手抹平，不允许增爬裙有漏缝（见图六）；

4.5 curing

4.4.7 去除多余溢出的粘接剂，清洁表面。
4.5 固化
粘接后的绝缘子在常温下完全固化需24小时，绝缘子增爬裙固化5小时后方可投入运行。

五. 包装与存放
5.1 采用纸箱包装；

5.4 增爬裙应在干燥场所存放，存放地应避免有油类及其他化学物品；
5.5 在运输过程中，不得将重物（特别是金属）堆放在纸箱上，以避免损伤增爬裙；
5.6 开箱时应避免利器划破伞裙。
